The franchise which currently operates in Newfoundland, more precisely in St.John's, has been located in 4 different cities in almost 6 full decades.
In 1969, the Rosemont National joined 10 other teams to participate in the very first campaign in the history of the QMJHL.
The National played in Laval from 1971 and was renamed “Les Voisins” on the eve of the 1979-80 campaign. Finally, the franchise took the name "Titan" in 1985-86.

Michel "Mike/Michael" Bossy is still in 1st place in the history of the best scorers in the history of the QMJHL in the regular season. It was in 1976-77, just before beginning his prolific professional career with the New York Islanders, that Bossy dislodged Jacques Jr Locas who had held the record since 1973-74 with 269 goals. As for Mario Lemieux, the flamboyant centerman had the most prolific offensive season in the history of the league with a collection of 282 points, including 133 goals during the 1983-84 campaign.
